Initial Driver CPC

The Driver CPC can be taken either before or after passing the LGV driving tests

This is a new qualification introduced as recently as September 2009. Unless you passed the car test before 1st January 1997 you will need to pass the CPC if you want to drive lorries professionally for a living. There are a few exceptions but generally most people will need to hold a Driver CPC Qualification Card.
