PCV Automatic training

This course is suited for anybody wishing to learn to drive a passenger carrying vehicle with more than 9 Passenger Seats.

Training is carried out on an automatic bus suited for driver training and which meets DSA standards. This bus has been chosen as it is easy to drive and manouever with good all round visibility.

Our training bus is a model in use by many bus companies, making it an ideal driver training vehicle for pupils seeking employment as a bus driver.

Many of our previous successful pupils have gone on to work with big bus companies including First Bus, Metroline, London General, Abelio, Transdev and Arriva as well as many others.

Other pupils have found employment in and around Heathrow airport or with many coach companies.

You can be permitted to take a test at 18 if:-

1. While learning to drive or taking passenger carrying vehicle (PCV) test; or

2. After passing a PCV test when:

* Driving on a regular service where the route does not exceed 50km, or

* Driving a PCV constructed to carry no more than 16 passengers, and

* The vehicle is operated under a Public Service Vehicle (PSV) operator's licence or permit.

3. Not engaged in the carriage of passengers
